About this data
An independent reader of Sri Lanka’s Medical Supplies Division quality circular index.
Where the data comes from
Every record here is parsed from a single public page: the MSD quality circular index at msd.gov.lk/quality-circulars. Nothing is added by hand and nothing is inferred about a product’s safety.
- Circulars indexed
- 265
- With a link to the original PDF
- 262
- Searchable batch codes
- 68
- Date range
- 18 September 2019 to 27 September 2026
Note the span is far wider than the archive. Only 1 circular is held from 2019 and 13 from 2023, against 83 in 2024. Earlier years are only partially archived. - Years
- 2026, 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019
How dates are read
The source index publishes dates in MM/DD/YYYY and orders its rows newest first. Reading the first field as the month reproduces that ordering exactly, with no contradictions across all dated rows. This site displays them as day, month, year.
How batch codes are read
Batch codes are extracted from the circular description by pattern matching, then filtered so that only plausible codes survive. Prose fragments and device registration numbers are discarded. A batch code shown here should still be confirmed against the original PDF, which is the authoritative document.
What a result does and does not mean
A match means a circular names that batch. A no match does not certify anything. It means only that this index does not mention it, which is not the same as a batch being sound. Recalls can be issued by the NMRA, by a hospital, or by the manufacturer, and not all of them appear on this page.

Not an official source
This is an unofficial reader. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Medical Supplies Division or the NMRA. If anything here conflicts with the original circular published by the MSD, the circular governs.
